Beauty Box 5: Fab Five Find of the Month (November 2013)

Hey everyone! It’s time for the latest Fab Five Find of the Month from the November 2013 Beauty Box 5 (BB5 for short)!  Woot!  If you need a quick refresher on what the Fab Five Find of the Month is, visit the October BB5 Review from YCS.

What is Beauty Box 5?

Beauty Box 5 is a subscription-based, beauty sampling program that delivers a box filled with 5 cosmetic samples to your door every month. It’s only $12/month! The quarterly subscription is $30/quarter ($10/month) and the annual subscription is $99/year ($8.25/month).

Each month you get a box filled with full-size and sample-size cosmetic products selected by the Beauty Box 5 beauty editors. The products are a mix of luxury items, everyday items, commonly known brands, niche brands, and eco-conscious brands. The box includes a variety of products including hair care, make-up, skin care, nail care, etc. Pretty much, you get a whole bunch of beauty awesomeness in one tiny package – which is shipped to your home for free!

November Beauty Box 5 Shipment

In this month’s Beauty Box 5 shipment, I received the following items:

Aveeno – Positively Nourishing Calming Body Wash ($6.99/16 oz., www.aveeno.com)

Montagne Jeunesse – Glacial Clay Spa Sheet Mask ($2.49/mask, http://www.montagnejeunesse.com/)

Secret Clinical Strength Antiperspirant (Bonus: Free Product Coupon) ($7.99, http://www.secret.com/)

A note from the Editor: In the video I say this isn’t available until January.  It’s actually available now, the coupon that came in Beauty Box 5 is for January 2014.  My apologies for any confusion.

Body Drench Lip Drench Lip Balm ($4.99, http://www.bodydrench.com/)

Bellapierre Cosmetics Shimmer Powder in Champagne ($14.99, http://www.bellapierre.com/shop/)

I’ve used (and even abused) each of these products and this month’s Fab Five Find of the Month is . . .

Montagne Jeunesse – Glacial Clay Spa Sheet Mask!!!

All about Montagne Jeunesse – Glacial Clay Spa Sheet Mask

You will “feel the natural rush of cooling Glacial Clay cleanse your pores to the core. Anti-oxidant rich Red Grape and Arctic Cloudberry juices from the glacial heights of Scandinavia work their magic to help maintain skins natural barrier.”

I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this face mask.  Often, when I do a mask at home I a) don’t feel like it’s working (because nothing happens to my face) and b) hate the mess it leaves behind.  With this awesome mask I had neither of those issues.  You could actually feel the cooling sensation as the mask worked.  Now, it might be all in my head (highly possible and likely) but, for whatever reason, feeling the cooling sensation made me feel like the mask was working.  And there was NONE of the mess that is usually involved with an at-home facial mask.  Check out the video above (if you haven’t already) for more of my thoughts about the product.

How can you get Beauty Box 5?
